Radsport gets two second places

The Boulevard RR is one of the toughest races of the year. Mike Halusa soloed on the first lap making it to the final climb alone. He was passed in the last 200 meters and got second place. Mike has worked hard and I know he'll win one this year. Devil's Punchbowl, watch out!

The 45+ team was out in force. Gary takes off from the gun and strings out the field. Kenny gets into an early break, and Gary counters and gets away with two other riders. Dave makes the bridge and the break is on. They get one straight lead, but gets brought back with 20 minutes to go. A rider goes clear, just as Dave flats. Steve puts a big effort in on the front followed by Kenny, Gary and Dave. They get the rider within seconds, it comes down to a field sprint with Kenny starting the lead-out, Gary takes his turn at the front, and Dave takes Steve into the last straight who wins the field sprint! Nice work guys!

First Race of the Seasom - CBR

It's that time again! Race, Race, Race

The first race of the season saw very cold temperatures and big fields. The team had some of it's best results ever.

55+ Dog (Wayne) got into the top ten in this very fast field sprint. I think he's faster than last year!

50+ The team came out to play with all the boys. After trying to get a break going the last few laps had Dave H. Bruce, Kenny and Gary pull for the last 3 laps at full speed setting Jay and Dave up for the sprint. Jay placed a perfectly timed attack and Dave went with him, with Jay taking first and Dave second with no one close to them down the final stretch. Great team work guys!

The 40+ was fast, with Victor getting onto the winning break for a few laps. The team all took turns at the front and working some secondary breaks. Darrin, Clem, Bruce, Victor, Gary, Steve, Alan, Jay and Dave all worked on the front. It came down to a field sprint with Steve getting himself to the front with three turns to go and laying down an excellent sprint for third, sixth overall. Steve is the man!
